Hi, I am also looking for a game.

I don't know if it was MSX 1 or MSX 2. (probably MSX 1)

It was a puzzle game where you had to collect stuff, I always thought it was oil.

You could walk around the level and there were enemies which you couldn't touch, and you could climb ladders.

The graphics were somewhat poor, with a black background and I remember the predominance of yellow.

No, you control a guy through levels that has enemies and stuff you need to collect.

It doesn't look at all like Oil's Well, maybe what you had to collect wasn't oil, but water or something liquid.

Yeah

How about forgetting all that I said and going just for the drop of liquid. Because that's something I remember clearly.
What games have that?

That must be a lot.. I know it's not Goonies or Usas. Or anything well-known.

Yeah! It's Turmoil, I just played a remake for the PC and it's exactly it!

But that remake does not give me any satisfaction
I am having difficulties playing the game on an MSX emulator, I have the disk image, but neither RuMSX nor openMSX (Phillips machines) will play it.
It won't go past the Loading screen.
What am I doing wrong?

buy one from ebay! or get "10 COMPUTER HITS 3" compilation cassette from ebay!

I have seen Bug-Byte´s Turmoil on ebay some times. Nice game but some levels are kinda tricky and hard, but well, good game has tricky levels too!

Must play that game again someday!! Great loading screen indeed!!!
