Yup, you got it right: a small forum topic for you to suggest polls we can put on our front page. If you have a cool idea for a poll... let us know here. If possible, give poll answers/options as well. Every question can have up to twelve options! Thanks for contributing...

Thanks for the suggestions!

Based on another thread in the development forum, a poll on 'what game type would you like to see' could be a nice one as well? We were also thinking about a 'best demo' poll. What poll options would you like to see on these polls?

Make sure you put 'Revolution' in the 'best demo' poll! I wanna vote for that one ^_^

We had a poll on other MSX sites once and some of the reactions weren't too positive. Besides I think it's kind of strange to ask the visitors to vote (or not) on your site in a poll on your own site. The results will be entirely meaningliss. But hey, that's what stats are for!

This kind of thing is not a good idea. Rivalry isn't good anyway and besides, MSX.ORG users are more likely to vote MSX.ORG and vice versa.

Anyway, it's hardly a contest. I'm sorry to say, the MSX Affiliates forum is really really LAME!

People using huge signatures, large fonts/images, whatever... I'm getting beaten to death with senseless titles like "Massive Posting S-Mod" (is that 'squirt' mod?)

And then there are the threads that do not even remotely have anything to do MSX... For the most part it's a childrens and lamers' playground.

No flame intended, just my personal opinion.

I know you are an "outspoken" man Guyver. I myself like that! But please bear in mind that other people might find it offensive.

I agree that polling on sites might be useless and be asking for trouble We'll see what we'll do with the suggestion. Neverthless, we're very happy with this (and future!) suggestions...

Besides commenting on other people's suggestions; give us some other suggestion Guyver!!!

A little humor is good for the heath and as MSX fan, you don't must take all too seriously. And for the design, it's another approach that many MSX fans appreciate.

As Super-Moderator of this forum, I must say that the team of Admins / Mods tries always to give solutions or explanations to the questions of the MSX users. But there's also place for fun, and that's the reason of the "off topic" threads : if you don't like this part, the best is to not read this part !

Another thing : my nickname on this forum is "mars2000you" and I have this title "Massive Posting S-Mod" that was given by the Admin of the forum, because I've posted many messages (yet 496) and the greatest part of these messages are useful for the MSX fans (info, explanation, solution ...).

My conclusion for the MRC forum : why not also an "off-topic" thread on MRC ?

Sanyo Wavy 70FD/FD2 (my personal favourite)

Pansonic WSX/ST/GT

Philips NMS8250/55/80

Sony HB201

Just to name a few remarkable ones.

Or, which MSX computer had the nicest keyboard?

Philips VG8000/8010 (^_^)

Sony HB75 (my personal favourite)

Sanyo/Philips NMS (exact same keyboard)

etc...

Lots of possiblities

I'd like to see the following poll:

At what 'speed' should konami covers be made (or any Japanse game which runs at 50hz in Europe) I'm not talking about a coder made on an msx,but on synths etc. Since KSS plays at 60hz, I've the feeling that all old gametunes sound too fast (except games like sd snatcher).

(1) 50hz, because in EU we're used to that

(2) 60hz, because that's the speed the composer wanted (in Japan)

(3) 55hz, best of both worlds
