Hi all,

I have an old MSX1 (Mitsubishi ML-FX1). I thought it'd be a nice idea to play some games on it again. So I'm looking for a MSX1 diskdrive and interface. Who has one and is willing to sell it to me? Don't bother trying to sell me an MSX2, I already have one.

Use WAVeR instead!

WAVeR appears to be a DOS/Windows executable, which won't work on my Linux box. I could install wine or dosemu, but I have loads of floppies and I'd really like to use them.

I have a 360kB drive/interface around here somewhere. I assume it's MSX1 compatible, but I can't test that since I don't have an MSX1. I think most of those external drives are though. If you want to buy or trade it that's okay, but be advised: those things are *really* heavy, so it'll cost you in shipment. If you want it I can look up the model number so you can check if it's MSX1 compatible. I live in Belgium, but if the difference in postage is a lot I could post it in Holland, usually it's not a big difference tho.

I think everything MSX1 is supposed MSX1 compatible. Right? So how heavy is it? Can you check what it would cost to post it in Belgium? And what would you want for it?

I'll look for it tomorrow, find you the model number and see if I can find out how much the shipment would be. I'll send a mail with all the info to your MSN address listed in your profile.

If it is 360K then it most certainly is from the MSX 1 days! And also works fine on MSX 2, turboR, OCM (I hope!)

I didn't get your message yet. Have you sent it? If you have, it probably didn't make it through the spam filters. Could you please (re)send it to my diederick76 at gmail dot com? Thanks!
