Hello i want to buy a flash memory catridge that allows to load MegaROMs and other rom games/ programs directly and without the need of conversions nor special memory requirements that seems like you had the original game cartridge.
But i have two choices from two differnet brands or supplier:

Leonardo Padial LPE flash catridge or italian SCC megarom

what is better? and which software i have to use for Leonardo Padial LPE flash catridge. Or can i use the OPF.COM also for LPE catridge?

the scc option is not important from italian SCC megarom....

You can't use OPF with LPE cartridge. We spent a lot of time trying to make OPF as friendly as possible to avoid special ROM conversions or patch files, so I think that using OPF with other flash cartridge different to MegaFlashROM is not 'ethical'.

Padial LPE Flash Cartridge = FL2.COM (download it from HansO website)
MegaFlash ROM (Manuel Pazos / Armando Pérez) = OPF.COM

OPF.COM has lots of advantages against FL2.COM even if FL2 is really advanced compared to the original FL.COM. If you really want to use a program without patched ROMs then OPF is your selection. But, of course, it will only work with MegaFlashROM carts.

I hope that this information will help you.

I have 2 megaflash (SRAM and SCC) and 1 LPE Flash. Lately I only use my megaflash because they offer me more an easier way of using it (and I do not need to worry of patched roms).

Well, you could use that Flash inside the IDE interface, but I don't think it will be that easy, since it has not his own mapper by hardware. And if you erase the stored information needed for the IDE interface, you will have to restore it with idefload.

I don't know if there are other utils which can get that flash memory from the IDE interface to load games, but I'd bet that they don't exist. Afaik, only idefload stores stuff in that flash memory, I could be wrong though.
