(Text in spanish below)
Hi,
I'm countach from Spain.
Starting with ZX Spectrum, when MSX arrived I got delighted. The colors, the sprites, all had different taste.
And when MSX2 came, that was unveliable. 256 colours at a time! ¡and in separate pixels! woh.
So I convinced my dad to buy one. The Philips VG8235:
The disk drive, the the keys, that wonderfull SCREEN 8... it was like a dream.
I've made a lot of games and programas in it.
Then we switch to... NMS 8280 ! Fantastic. I have videos made with it. And a lot of programs too.
And now?
Well: having all this stuff in diskettes, in October 2004 I started to build a website to publish ALL.
This site is almost finished. The engine is done, it's only a question of recover some disks more.
I'm pretty sure you all will enjoy this site, as I enjoyed makin' it.
This will be the URL:
http://www.silueth.com/msx
Now there is a demo, but in a short time will start.

Hola

I just wonder why you introduce yourself as Countach in English and as Asturias en Español? Mucho wierdo!
But anyway, welcome to the boards! Website looks nice, but not much to do yet |

Mr Rudi, I think you are not translatin it properly.
" I'm countach from Spain. "
This text is intented to foreing people that don't have to know that Asturias is a part of Spain.
Its a kind of more generic description.
And the other one,
" Soy de Asturias, aunque ando por Madrid."
(I'm from Asturias, dispite I usually live in Madrid) is more intented to local people to know about this two places.

Nope, in my site you will find a lot of info about, but the fact is that I presented a couple of projects to Opera Soft, (that's why I putted their logo in my graphics), but it was too late to MSX era, the very first nineties, and nothing went out.
But I enjoyed a lot makin' it and that was really the reason for doing it...
BTW, my website is almost finished... it's hard to catalog and snapshot all programs and pictures you made a lot of years ago... tonight I will continue, yesterday I found some forgotten assember utilities to translate from SPECTRUM screens to SCREEN2, SCREEN 5 and SCREEN 8, for example.
Stay tuned! |

Ah you are right I wasn't translating at all by the way, I just looked at the two sentences
I must admit, my Spanish is very, very, very rusty...I used to speak it quite well, 10 years ago. |

Calzedonia is between the Heaven and the Paradise
Hey countach, nice page, thanks for share all your staff!!!!
I've downloaded EGOS but I couldn't make it work on my AWSX1. I wrote your diskimage in a real disk with WinImage and the program starts (sometimes) but the graphics appears corrupted (the arrow is a character, icons can't be seen, black windows remains and don't close...)
any idea? |
