I already knew that... it's a pity, I rather prefer the classic cute sd-looking bomberman.

Indeed.. to go first person is one thing (that doesn't really fit in to my idea of Bombaman, but still...), but changing the looks of that cute little bomberman... blasphemy!

well then... don't buy an xbox 360... if it's their idea to first-person retro games and hope they'll be hits again, then you can wait for those companies lose money... I don't think a first person galaga, galaxian, pong or pacman would do that well... those games simply weren't designed for that style... for me it's a reason to leave the xbox 360 in the stores as well.

Ehum!

There is a first person BOMBERMAN programmed by Hudson for MSX too, called BOMBERMAN 3D. Perhaps the worst game released by Hudson for the MSX platform. So, it is neither a good idea nor a NEW IDEA. But it is up to them to use their characters as they want!

I also remember a 3D PACMAN, but it was not from Hudson. It was pure crap, I must say.

And, for example, Super Mario Bros was not designed to be 3D, and Mario64 resulted into one of bests platform games in history... I'm more dissapointed about the change of the main cute style of the saga...

The first person Pacman that I mentioned was not published for MSX. If I remember correctly, it was a homebrew Spectrum game published in the Spanish Microhobby magazine.

About BOMBERMAN 3D, I would nominate it as the worst Hudson game for MSX by far.

painful as it might be, anyone up for a 'worst commercial MSX game ever' mega-poll? ^_^

Didn't know about Bomberman 3D, by the way... as for Pacman in 3D, the birdview Pacmania wasn't half that bad...

First person Space Invaders? that would look very odd! ^_^

Just in case, you can find how it looks at Generation MSX

"Worst msx-game ever" is an impossible poll to do, since a lot of non-JP-reading msx'ers are going to drop potentially good JP games just because they can't make cheese from the language. The restriction that could be a solution would be: "nominate the worst msx games you played in your native language", but that's plain weird on an international forum.

My favourite Bomberman game was Bomberman 64 for N-64 console. This game was very good in my opinion, but now that Hudson guys have decided to make a "new" bomberman, I mean, Act:Zero I don´t agree with them in this new point of view

*cough*... something like this was done before - we could extract/add nominees from this thread

Native would mean that we Dutchies can't even nominate English games ;p

ok, 'native' and 'secundary' then NL has a good tradition of foreign languages, and I dare to say that the majority of Dutchies can perfectly survive with English. In countries like Spain, Italy it seems that foreign languages have less priority @ schools, dunno why.
