Erm... Tricky question!

I would have sent you one, but they're not sold in France. I had to specially order one which I sent to Partrick.

But I think you can still buy back issues from:
http://www.retrogamer.net/

They bought all the excess stock and assets from the old publishers, and are selling them on. The Holland issue was #17, or Volume 2 Issue 5. The one with Sonic on the cover.

Alternatively, someone here could scan it and put scans up. I honestly don't mind, and I don't think the publisher cares. I won't tell anyone.

By the way, here's an overview of translationS: http://www.generation-msx.nl/msxdb/translations

I'm curious about those scans!

Since you mentioned that a lot of translated MSX games are sold at fairs, I was thinking of using this photo to illustrate the fact:

I assume that's ok? Unless anyone knows of a better photo to use.

Did you check the major improvements on the SD-Snatcher translation I did way after the Oasis patch was released? There were a lot of things fixed compared to that release patch.

I didn't, but thanks for pointing that out!

Allright, I emailed them (RetroGamer) on April 11, and today, May 10, I get an e-mail saying that "yes, issue 17 is in stock", and I should phone some operator... hmm, dubious service, this. I'll try and order a copy later today.

My article on the translation scene, with info from you guys, has been published.

Here are some (crappy) scans done with my (crappy) scanner:

Looks good, Szczepaniak! It's only that those letters are a bit tiny

Sorry about that, my scanner is lousy.

Try maybe reading it in an art package, maybe inverting the colours to make the text stand out more.

For the record, it's in issue 25 of Retro Gamer:

It does make me wonder how different the Konami translation of Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake is compared to the one Maarten and Takamichi did.
