My favorite: Gradiente Expert DD Plus

Why? Becuase it's rare in Europe and because it looks like a VCR.

Since the moment I have it, it's my trustworthy Panasonic FS-A1ST MSX turboR. Never let me down for one second.

I like my Yashica YC-64, because of the nice matte red colour

Aww, I misread the topic title. While that may be obvious already, please let me correct my mistake: my all-time favourite MSX1 is the Sony HB75P. I have one, with the HBD50 expansion drive ($imple $ided! [tm]) & interface. The keyboard is so damn cool. No PC keyboard even nears it. As with everything: there are some minor issues. I don't get HOW Sony could have come up with those tip-keys for function and cursor keys while the rest looks so professional :-\...

My first and only MSX1 was a Mitsubishi ML-FX1. It has one great advantage over my MSX2 (a VG-8235): its keyboard. Not only does it have a separate numeric part, the keys also feel a lot better when pressed. The thing still works perfectly. If I had a floppy drive for it, I'm sure I would play all my MSX1 games on that machine.

Unfortunately I never owned one, but for me the SVI-738 is probably one of the coolest MSX1 computers ever made...

The Toshiba HX-10 of course. Worked perfectly. Played every game available, cracked or not. Worked like a charm

sorry to break it to you but i find that this was one of the ugliest msx ever around
on the other hand it was indeed one of the most compatible around and that is ofcourse the most important (price was also very nice way back)

Spectravideo SVI - 738 X 'press
Because:
Great updating possibilities if wanted (msx2+), built -in vdp9938 and built in diskdrive.
And looks kinda cool as seen on above picture in Sonic Aka T:s post.
But:
The original diskdrive is very noisy, though. And the scc sounds are too low level if not modded.
