I guess that the main problem is that the SAME USERS that in the past were searching for "MSX" related pages, now have learnt WHERE is all the interesting stuff.

The vast (and a gradually increasing) majority of visitors to the MRC are bookmark/RSS/direct hit visitors, so they aren't listed in that trendmap. Besides, have a look at this trendmap...

msx died in '86 when MSX2 was introduced. Too bad time didn't stop in '85

dvik - you can generate them yourself at this page. It takes a few days before the trendmap appears on the website.

Actually, MSX is more alive than ever. Google searches are not a real indicator of MSX computing.

Zombies are already dead, and MSX is losing to them:

WHat's the scale of those Google trend maps? If you don't put a scale, it doesn't mean anything, right?

no, you are wrong, MSX2 was born dead. In Finland there were no MSX2s. (well, just few)

If you don´t believe me, check this evidence:

http://www.google.com/trends?q=msx2&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all

No-one uses MSX2.
