I remember there was a password for Thunderbolt that gives you all powers
any one know it?
Is there a cheat for Salamander that let you skip levels? also is there a one that gives you all powers?

in general, I want all the cheats for both games.

Salamander all powerups trick:

* Requires to start game in 2 player dualplayer (coop) mode

You can use a joystick connected to port B to control the 2nd player, but keyboard control is also possible. Start level 1, playing with player 1. Don't let player 2 get any items, just steer it out of the way. In the first part of the first stage there are these powerup-giving pods that grow out of the surface. Shoot them as fast as possible, if destroyed before they reach the half of the screen, they will give 3 "E" items.

Now, in the first part of stage 1 there are about 6 of these. The trick is to kill off player 2 before the 2nd part of the level starts (the scrolling down part). If player 2 gets killed, the level goes back to the beginning. There are infinite continues so that doesn't matter. So in this way, you can totally powerup player 1 and then have player 2 game over.

However, the game is still a difficult challenge, even with all weapons and powerups..

Otherwise, there are no cheats or passwords for the cartridge game. Disk versions might have cheats built in (I remember at least one exists).

There is one extra level to be found if you insert a Nemesis 2 cartridge in slot 2.

by the time I got to the end of level one, the other player had died so many times I had all the weapons and all the extra ones
