When will this great device be available for reservation on the Basix website, for us europeans?!

[edit]
I've been looking at the pics in the D4 enterprise website, but can't find the PS/2 connector they keep referring to, to plug in a keyboard. Can anyboy find it and point me to it?!

I think it is that small connector near yellow cinch but I am not shure...

Can I ask You will it be avaible for Europe??? Why do not sell it worldwide??? Or will they have any dealer for EU? Will be avaible after first 5000 more maschines???
So what about sound is there PSG or not or just send sound via DAC as wave or something like that.
It has very nice plast-case design.Blue is my favourite colour...

The connector near the yellow cinch would be the svhs connector (I guess), since it's between the composite video and VGA connector. The only location I can think of which is not clearly visible, is the other side of the VGA connector (near the corner of the box) On the other far end corner, there is already what seems to be a power supply connector.
Last time the japanese tried to get enough reservations, they did japan only, and a little later Basix opened a page for european reservations.
In the end there were about 3000 out of 5000 reservations total, if my memory serves me right. Lets hope it turns out better this time.
As I understand from Alex (Wulms) it should have PSG, FM and SCC music.

More MSX fans should be interested by this MSX2 One Chip, because ... it's a MSX2 !

Most of critics about the first reservations concerned the fact that it was 'only' a MSX1 One Chip, with some additions.

As you know, MSX2 is really an improvement by comparison with MSX1 what concerns the graphical capabilities and the memory management.

Yay to Latok about posting the news. He must be tired now ^_^.

As for distribution: Bazix is indeed to distribute the OCM outside Japan. Pre-ordering in both Japan and outside has not begun as of yet, so a little more patience please! There might be some other surprises coming up....

You could always throw away your TurboR PCB and replace it with the OCM PCB
ps: I like the casing it's in.

I like the casing a lot as well (of couse, I'm not the post objective person to ask). And the size! It's about the same size as a double-DVD (jewel)casing. As the Japanese site states: the most compact MSX computer to date!

This whole OCM thing is a superb news to the MSX community. MSX is NOT dead! Now you can say it with no doubt.
Yeah, the casing is just modern look. Nothing bad about it. Actually it makes it even cooler.

Gotta get one of those machines.

yep, and no system has been rerealeased properly like this, and I don't count c64 in a joystick !
I personally think having 2 good old cartridge slots is a great statement too, apart from updating
the little fella with VGA and svhs (niiiice), flashcard and usb.
I think with a small lcd screen like the ones for the gamecube, and some batteries you could maybe
even do some portable gaming in the train haha !

This is a pretty cool doodad. And they're even going to include a manual and some VHDL source!?

Now, how do I get one in the USA?
