This is for me, one of the BEST computing news I've seen. Hope this time, this machine (now it's totally great for me) will be in our hands: actually, MSX is my main music machine for composing and playing and it's the machine I more use for gaming and going to computing parties... The "5000 limit" this time is for calculate the final price or it's the same limit as last year?

Yours,
Latok

Good question. I'm under the impression the 5000 is for achieving a 19800 yen sale....Less pre orders means higher price.

120EUR is not expensive for new MSX2+SD CARD READER+PS/2 REDUCTION /I hope/+2xUSB
By the way that 2x USB is for fpga programming or it can be used with USB FLASHDISK,MOUSE,GAMEPAD + DRIVERS..... ???
BTW Do not change case please. It is SIMPLE and very perfect for party... It will be very portable.

Hey, just wondering... what's the distance (in cm) between the cartridge ports? Can you insert two IDE interfaces simultaneously? What about a Music Module? Will the other port be blocked? (I know, I know -- if it would be blocked, simply insert the musmod in the back, but hey...)

Cucumber time is over! Hurray! No need to pick on eachother anymore

Would inserting a musicmodule make it fall over? Looks like a music module is bigger and heavier than the OCM.

yea, but, dunno, somehow I rate the FM-Pac higher than the musmod, and psg/scc+/fmpac together would be nicer than one musmod.

btw! At last we get fixed balances between psg/scc/fm-pac on a large scale!

Especially if you have the intention to use the Panasonic MSX-AUDIO cartridge !

SCC is my favorite. (Must be because of all the Konami's)
It just doesn't sound so plastic like MSX-Music and MSX-audio.

That's a matter of sounddesign, Moonsound can sound like SCC as well (a bit), it's also because of the additional quantisation noise which you're used to hear. The FM-pac etc. doesn't have this noise so while it sounds more clean, it also sounds more 'empty'.
