both 5 channels, but the normal scc has one voice (wavedata) shared for channel 4 and 5, the scc+ has 5 unique voices .. (so the difference is really 32 byes memory )

Cucumber time is over! Hurray! No need to pick on eachother anymore

Would inserting a musicmodule make it fall over? Looks like a music module is bigger and heavier than the OCM.

Good question. Music Module is absolutelly great and I use it a lot, specially for composing and playing with my MIDI keyboard. I think that there will be no problem with it

SPL are you chip muzax??? What about new MSX democrew???

Well I've done two music disks with Pro-Tracker by Tyfoon Soft. originally for FM-PAC, but it sounds great with Music Module. I've made another song specially for BCN PARTY 101 (www.bcnparty.org) and my last two songs made specially for Music Module (with Moonblaster) have been published by me in the last Contest for Young Artists of the Navarra Government 2006 (in Spain) (www.encuentrosnavarra.com) . First results will be available in September. I've done these songs as a single of a new "big album" I want to make, because 10 years ago I've composed my first song with a PC Tracker: Scream Tracker. I have a lot of songs made with Scream / Impulse / Schism Tracker. Sure that I will be this year again on the BCN PARTY.

About Schism Tracker, I am making a direct port of this tracker for ZETA (www.zeta-os.com), the successor of BeOS. Because I am now very busy and working I haven't done a new port since 27th of June, but I will make a new port of last CVS Snapshot soon.

Well, I am A L W A Y S open to make a new democrew.

I am DEFINITELY going to order it. And, perhaps will paint it black to match my Sony Hit-Bit 201. It should look sexy

Now for a question: do you think that USB flash drives would work on it? Not that it would really matter, with the SD slot, but I don't really want to buy an SD card when I have 3 USB drives, you know?

You can buy a 512MB SD card for 15 euros. If you're gonna buy a new MSX for E.220,- you can afford the 15 extra, I guess.

But it is only my own opinion...

@Matej: for now the flyer says the USB is for 'future extention/expansion'. So it's not clear what the USB connectors can (or cannot) be used for.

Patsie: I guess that's true. Plus, I think I have a 32 meg one that came with my PDA which I haven't used.. that should work ok. (emphasis on "I think" )

Matej: That's a good idea. I will definitely try it out, If I can find them in my area... better than the way I was going to do it (getting a can of black spraypaint and going to town).

Yes, you're right (it can be great!) , but my ultra-simple midi keyboard has only standard-midi connectors

Yep, I am a bit "lost", but I still reading all of you... hope I will be less busy soon, but you know, new job, new town, new way of living, NO MSXing when I am in Zaragoza because I still living in a relative home and there is no space for it ... but I am looking for a rental flat, he he he

Also, I will be 100% sure at BCN PARTY 110. One question: when will be the next BCN MSX RU?

Yours,
