Yup, you've read it right! I got my hands on a set of games including Solid Snake: Metal Gear 2 and Snatcher recently and did what every collector would, as I already had both. I picked the nicest looking and decided to sell the other two, still in quite a good condition. Naturally, both cames are a set of box, game and manual.

Solid Snake 2: Metal Gear

note: Cartridge has nice looking SCC switch

Snatcher

As usual, send your bid(s) to snout@msx.org - I'll inform the lucky winner by mail and will announce whether or not the games have been sold in this thread. Cheers!

I might be interested in MG2. I have a few questions though:

Is it an original box? I mean, does it have a "Metal Gear2 - Solid Snake" logo on the inside? Maybe you can add a photo to show the inside of the box.

And the cartridge has an SCC switch? To bad it is not in original state anymore with a hole in the side.

Ok, here goes

Q: Do you only sell them as a bundle, or can I buy one of the two games
A: I sell the games separately as well, no problem

Q: Which payments methods do you accept?
A: Bank transfer and paypal

Q: Where are the games shipped from?
A: The Netherlands (in case you did not know yet). Shipping costs are yours.

Q: Too bad that MG2 has that SCC switch
A: Yup, guess why I decided to sell that one... :/

Q: Can I see the inside of the box?
A: sure...

Q: When are you going to close this 'auction'?
A: This Friday. (as I won't be in the position of mailing it to any buyer this week, and perhaps the buyer is able to come to Bussum)

Q: How high are the bids so far
A: At this moment the highest bids are

225,- for Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
140,- for Snatcher

I sent this info to the persons who mailed me as well, but just in case. If you'd like to bid on these, there's little point in bidding for lower amounts.

I've been recently in Japan and even there those games are a little expensive.
In SuperPotato, the only shop where I've been able to find a large MSX catalog I also found the big ones, Space Mambow, MG1 & MG2, SD Snatcher, etc. with prices going from about Snatcher's 8500 yen to near 20000 yen MG2 & Space Manbow. The photo is not of enough quality to see the price stickers; but you can see what titles they're selling:

SuperPotato's MSX big games!
