No, IIRC I've tested it with a 4Mb external mapper and it doesn't works. It's mainly conceived for the brazilian MegaRAM.

Too bad.
How accurate are OpenMSX and BlueMSX if we test several configurations?

They should be very accurate. If not, please report a bug |

how does it works?"

If you use a 512KB or higher MEGARAM.
EXECROM /R4 /E WAVES
/R4 is to load ASCII 8KB mapped MegaROM .
/E is to not load cool colors.
There is 256KB, 512 KB or 1024 KB MEGARAM.
No need of a external cartridge for normal 16/32 KB games. |

Is there a cartridge reader/writer hard/softwarefor PC that can read and flash MegaFlashROMs cartridges or other MMC cartridges. i heard it should be possible to do the same with the game reader.
Does somebody know more for this reader possibilty?
Im also interested in Padial LPE-MMC-V6 cartridge.
Does it works in the usb game reader? Has somebody tested this in the gamereader?
Why is the website Padial offline? He stops with developtment of msx hardware???

Flashing AMD based cartridges like Padial or MegaFlashRom doesn't work with the game reader unfortunately. The big problem is that the game reader has really poor performance doing random access reads and writes. I made a program to flash the Padial cartridge earlier but it takes about an hour to flash
I have ESE carts as well and they flash in less than a second with the game reader. |

Not sure, I got them from a Japanese friend. I'm not sure where he got them from, but I have both an ASCII8/16 and a Konami SCC version and they are really nice.

I think I have asked this before. Using Getrom or any other program, I get two different crc rom files when dumping. Which would be the one to be considered as good for the database. The rom files recognized by the emulators were dumped with which tool?

only_69 - what kind of ROM did you try to dump? Some ROMs have a RAM area or registers, which may affect the dump result. An example is the diskROM.
