Finally received my Moonlight Saga and tried to run it on my Turbo-R only to find that it crashed after I select begin game-> yes. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Also, the manual mentions that this is a 4 disk game but I only received 3 disks. Was I deceived?

AFAIK MLS has 3 disks. MLS works fine on my Turbo.

Mls has three disks, after starting at a certain moment you had to change the disk. There comes a message to do so !
I am surprised that you say I received finally, quite nonsense ,but that is to bring again unfounded critism on the this fora as usual

anyways, there used to be a promo of this game.. is that still available? I'd like to have a look at it (assuming it runs on BlueMSX)

Back in the day I bought the promo from Gigamix. Don't know who has the rights to it now apart from maple yard.

Perhaps sunrise knows whether the promo is still copyrighted...

It runs after you made the dsks of the original disk on blue, open and msx-playe.
Choose the right one since some give a different result an are not functioning !
I cannot say if the promo is copyrighted ,but in my opinion that would be strange.
Screenshots I am working on ...

Well, I have modded my Turbo-R to use a beltless FDD but Fray and Illusion City work fine on it so I am doubting MLS would have a problem due to it. I'll try to make a video and upload it to YouTube.
