Hey Yo!

I am on the lookout for the super rare MSX2+. I was wondering whether someone on these boards may have one spare for sale. Or if not then maybe direct me to someone/somewhere that sells them. Many thanks in advanced.

My email address is: spudmanno5@yahoo.co.uk

super rare? I don't think that they are that rare. Did you check on ebay?

CU_AMiGA: there isn't 'the' super rare MSX2+. There's the Sanyo Wavy PHC-70FD and PHC-70FD2, the Sony HB-F1XDJ, the Panasonic FS-A1WX and FS-A1WSX... And I'm sure I forgot some. All of these, especially the Panasonics, aren't that hard to get. Just watch eBay. Good luck!

Which MSX2+ is super rare?

Anyway, all official MSX2+ machines are listed on the FAQ: http://faq.msxnet.org/msx2p.html

Hey Yo!

Many thanks for the replies. OK maybe i have over exaggerated a little! I have looked on ebay (but no luck) and even Yahoo Japan auctions (but many wont do worldwide shipping and shipping is expensive!). How often do these babies appear on European/USA ebay? I am after a Sanyo Wavy model in particular. But maybe if i don't see one appear i could just get a cheap MSX2 computer and upgrade it to MSX2+! As i said if anyone here has one then please get in touch!

Regards,

CU_AMiGA: good luck on finding a Wavy. I'd give it a fatter chance than purchasing an MSX2 and convert it to 2+ -- there's almost no-one left able to do this kind of modifications...

But you might find an already modified MSX2 quite easily in the NL!
