One more thing... Look carefully the last photo... That is not a VG8020 (different casing, maybe it's an empty plastic case).

Thank you, I have added the photo of the manual with the incremented number 800 to 801. That may indicate indeed an updated model.

Does it have an AY-3-8910 or a Yamaha YM2149 PSG?
And, no printer port, right?

Weird: it has redefined function keys that are quite stupid: F1 = run"cas:", but F4 = load"cas:",r! How superfluous!

It has the AY-3-8910-A.
No printer port, an optional device in the standard. Not uncommon in the early Philipos machine, though the NMS 800/801 is a late one from 1989

HansO, can you confirm the slot layout:

32kB BASIC in slot 0-0, page 0-1
64kB RAM in slot 3-0
no expanded slots
