Has anyone tested the quality (video/audio/sync/..) in blueMSX and openMSX and can tell which one to use for best results?

I haven't tried the blueMSX one, but:
- A/V sync should be 100% correct in openMSX if you don't change settings that can influence it (a warning is given if you do). This includes changing VDP display frequency.
- Video is 320x240 lossless (ZMBV codec, dvik, it would be cool if blueMSX would support it as well!). So, unless you use higher resolutions, it will have "perfect" quality, but without any screen effects. The ones on Google Video are re-encoded by themselves, so they are lossy (and a lot worse in quality; their scaling algorithm is also not very suitable for computer graphics).
- Audio is WAV, so also lossless. It's quite big though, so you often re-encode it afterwards to something smaller (e.g. mp3)
- openMSX isn't released yet with this feature, but you can get a beta/snapshot from SVN or our IRC channel of course

I noticed... tried searching for a (youtube) video from myself at google video, and it showed up instantly.
shameless plugs:

http://video.google.nl/videosearch?q=hydefos
these were done with bluemsx by the way, a ~week ago.
@dvik, I used WMV, but I needed to reprocess them afterwards in windows movie maker to reduce the size. There might be a better way, but many codecs I tried resulted in non-working movies. I have not yet tried openMSX for this.

Isn't Hertz simply the best game company on MSX, statistically? They've released only 3 games.. Psycho World, Hydefos and Sword of Legend Lenam. Apart from the japanese in Lenam, their games all look top-notch!

I don't know Lenam very well, but the other 2 - yeah, amazing. I'm curious as to how they were able to get it right like that immediately.
I'm also wondering where they went.

that's not a lot :/
Maybe you should upload some to youtube instead of google video - I think you can get more hits there more easily (yeah I know the video format/length is worse and all).
it's not the video search on google anyway, they're easy to find when one's looking for MSX related video.
*edit*
allthough, when I just search on "msx" your vids don't quite show up instantly, and it seems youtube gets preference in the google video search now?
if I search on "openmsx" though, instant hit.
*edit2*
team openmsx/openmsx team, right? There's one from SD Snatcher, but I'm curious - why is the music in warehouse #1 different??? I hear music playing where you're supposed to hear a timebomb. Is it because of cheats?
