@ARTRAG, the main thread was why OpenMSX don't replay SCC channels. Now it's solved

In the other hand, talking about the replayer:

VTSCC is a cloning system in SCC from the 3 PSG channels, enhancing the sound quality of PT3 files. This is only a patch for Dioniso's VT player MSX modification.

PLAY38SCC is the last version of my own player I'm developping since 2004 and used in some games (Phantomas: Infinity, Los jardines de Zee Wang Zu...), now it supports SCC chip. It has a completly different structure. If you need it I can send you more datailed docs.

About your question, there are some developpers (Nerlaska) working on a VT PSG+SCC (8 tracks) replayer.

Shame there is no final version. I'd really liked to see something like this as an out-of-the-box solution. (without tracker ofcourse) The manual editing of the SCC channel mapping wouldn't be a problem.

@WYZ: Is it a problem if someone else makes a 'final' version of the replayer? I think it would be a goog addition to the MSXdev scene as there is a lot of .pt3 music. AND I just like the SCC sound

@WYZ:
Could you release an updated version of the VTSCC replayer (after the outcome of this tread)? (if I understand you've found a bug).

Ideally a single source integrating the Dioniso's PT3 replayer would be optimal, anyway if you want to keep your code as a patch to
dioniso's replayer, specify exactly to which version of the pt3 replayer the patch applies.

Moreover, not all assemblers can include binary files - unfortunately -
I would appreciate you include in text format the tables you included on karoshi

Thanks in advance!

@Huey: there is any problem. ;D

@ARTRAG: It's not difficult to patch the VT ROUT rutine with a search function to keep compatibility, I will inlcude SCC wave tables as an TXT file too.
