Or, what I think it is, the next version of openMSX will support slow-motion for creating tool-assisted speedruns? ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tool_Assisted_Speedrun )

and perhaps cheats? looks like it in some videos at least. But that I guess is also a sort of tool-assisted speedrun. But whatever the method they are nice movies.

For OW: just set the speed to 25% and it's very easy to make such a movie. jonemaan: this feature is in openMSX since years...

hehehehe yeah the ToyBox operation wolf is a very nice game... and on 25% speed it's very do-able.

The Vampire Killer player is not quite skillful when fighting Dracula in stage 18. Killing the skeleton is way easier than shown. Just jump over one of the lower steps, bend, and fire. The knifes will both protect the player and hit the skeleton directly in the heart.

Hum, just a remembrance from the good old times, when I had plenty of time to play.

Speaking about speed runs, is there any place on the net where I can see best times for Vampire Killer, Metal Gear, etc. ? IIRC vkiller can be done in 22-25 min.

Just keep in mind that the guy who recorded these movies also has created most openMSX and blueMSX trainers
