I will pay today in the evening, when I am back home. Can't wait for it, it's one of the coolest new MSX hardware I can imagine
@Nikodr: Yes, of course I will support it! Will interrupt my current work as soon as I get the card and (try to) implement MP3 support in SymAmp.

Prodatron: it will be absolutely great to listen MP3 from a 1 GB FAT32 partition for example . Now I must to try to know how to put more internal RAM on my 8245, because I don't have any slot expander and I must have more than 128 KB RAM to use Symbos + CF + MP3.

Yours,

PS: This problem will be solved with OCM ^-^

I already received examples from Yobi and a 20pages-document from Dennis, great!
I think I start developing the MP3 support at this weekend.

Btw, I wonder what will happen now in the future with the production.
As it is so much work for you, did you already think about handing over the production to someone else like Matra?

I think an extended MP3-SymAmp will still have a size, which can be extecuted on a standard 128KB MSX2. Anyway playing MP3-music with this new revolutionary card won't require much memory at all, if you have an IDE interface

Do you think it's possible to do a "embedded symamp" without loading all the symbos system? (Joke )

Well, good to hear that it will work with only 128 KB RAM . Yes, I know that I will be able to load from DOS, but the FAT32 support (great partitions) of Symbos it's a very great factor for using SymAmp instead of the FAT12 support of MSX-DOS (32 MB partition MAX).

Spl i would advice to get a 1mbyte external mapper.Symbos works great with any ram more that 128.In my case i got a 4mbyte memory mapper and symbos is working in the best way.Only problem is that i do not have a sunrise cf adapter but i am getting one soon
