@cax: please give me info....

@dvik: yes, if you can remember what fixed that Zanac thing, that would really be helpful. Wouter analysed it a few years ago and he said it's a bug in the program triggered by slightly different timing, IIRC. But if that's wrong, do let us know Obsonet: wasn't that with pcap? AFAIK there are some security problems with that... but let's talk about it on IRC some time.

Anyway, in the mean time there were some small bug fixes and some documentation updates, which give you: pre2 of openMSX 0.6.2:

http://openmsx.sourceforge.net/temp/openmsx-0.6.2-pre2-win32-bin.exe

If you find any *bugs* in this beta, please do let us know!

Note: it includes two Arabic MSX machines.

OK, NOW WAIT A SEC! THIS VERSION SEEMS TO CRASH. WILL POST AN UPDATE SOON, SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

You should firstly initialize the hard disk image, using the FDISK310 program. You can find all IDE tools on http://www.msx.ch/sunformsx/ . Good luck!

Hmm, I just discovered that you can create new initialized harddisk images and partitions with the diskmanipulator command, but you cannot initialize an existing harddisk image, which you get after it's auto-created. I have filed an RFE in our RFE-tracker for that.

Until then, use this link to the manual: http://openmsx.sourceforge.net/manual/user.html#harddisks
