Hi,

That's it, i've been given a 8010 and as soon as i connected it, i heard a loud bang from inside and then smoke came out. A capacitor exploded.

So, before replacing it, i want to check if the rest is alright.

I've been looking for the manual here:

www.funet.fi/pub/msx/mirrors/hanso/service_manuals/philipsvg8010sm.pdf

but i cant open it, the pdf is corrupted. Could someone post a working link or send me a copy by email / msn / whatever?

Thanks

The Funet Archive doesn't exist anymore, it has been moved to www.msxarchive.nl but this site is currently unavailable, due to the fact that is has reached it's bandwith limit. You should be able to grab your files beginning of April again, or hope someone will be so kind to send you the file
