Will this lead work with a TurboR or a HB700F? I want to connect to a non-SCART monitor, the seller tells me that it will work with any MSX with a DIN output

First of all, ¿how many pins has the DIN?, it must be 8, if not it isn't a F700/TR video cable.

I've a Sony F700 and a TurboR and IIRC both can use the same DIN/SCART cable; but about using the composite video signal (pin 4), the MSX hardware page states:

Quote:

The Sony F700 and Sanyo Wavy only put a composite sync signal (no complete video, only synchronisation signals) on pin 4, where the Turbo-R seems to put a complete composite video signal on this pin. An RGB monitor only uses this to extract the synchronisation signals, and therefore either composite sync, or composite video will do.

So seems that only the TurboR can give a full composite signal through the DIN.

Hope this helps

This cable does not work on a sony or turbo-R
The sony 700 gives only a black/white signal by using the AV-connector

I have seen cable before with 4 cinch connectors and you can use that on commodore and MSX.
You only have to search 2 connectors you need.

It is an old tape cable to the reciever and you can use that for computers too, becouse all pins are used
The original is left/right in and left/right out.

But this cable has only 3 cinch connectors which look like audio left/right and video (yellow)
