Organized by ASCII, with some press around and some 'offficial', big companies, the MSX Festival held this weekend is bound to have some impact in the (near) future.

What do you think was the purpose of this festival. Was it just celebrating that ASCII had sold many magazines?? Or is there more going on? One thing is for sure, the one-chip MSX was demonstrated out in the 'official' open for the very first time...

i believe nothing at all. The big boys that (perhaps) visited the fair (/festival) propably already have had contact before. I'd call it just a piece of marketing towards the public.

I must say that this all seems to be planned very gentle, i mean the whole project.

yeah, me too. Just look at those camera crews, looks like something... well cool?! It satisfies me to see that much interest in MSX is shown in japan. must be a good sign huh?

The new ASCII24 information had quite some impact on me. A lot of new developments were demonstrated on the MSX Festival! How I wish I could have been there....
