Well if you ask me you can do the same as with the usb gamereader got a license and produce and you can also decide the own case how it has to look, no expernsive import duties !

On the other hand it is not surprising that there is a reserve list, 500 units are very few units for the western market...

You're sure the Western batch is 500?

Hm, I did a pre-order too, but I don't receive an email about it, maybe because a switch to an other provider?

legacy, I also didn't receive anything from Bazix, so you're not alone on that one. I already mentioned it to snout.

What could have happened is that this mail has been caught up in a spamfilter. I've just checked on Bazix' side and all mails have been sent out properly. Unfortunately there is little we can do about spamfilters generating false positives. :/

You can either contact Bazix about that, or wait until one of Bazix' ppl feels like answering here. In any case, if the Western 1CM would've been available by now, it'd have been all on the MRC frontpage already. As it's not, it's likely that there's no news..

Almost a year after the asian release we still don't have a western version. Can't say I'm surprised...

Bazix doesn't seem to be very comunicative either on the subject. I can only hope for them that the people that have pre-ordered it, all still want their OCM by the time it gets available.

Hope they received my cancellation of OCM order, mainly because a friend of mine has bought me on in Japan...

If I were you, I would e-mail them again, and demand a confirmation. Also make sure the e-mail has both read & receipt confirmation requests.

It's better to be safe than sorry

I still cannot understand WHY people hasn't gathered toghether and rolled their own. The schematic is avaiable, the VHDL code is avaiable, the GPL license says you CAN make a derivative product/code...so...what make you wait for bazix et al? Do your own board and make it open source!
