Hi

Did you guys see this web site?

http://home.a02.itscom.net/msx_lab/

It seems very interesting and contains a lot of information about amateur games. It's far from complete though, and I have no idea how to contact them. Also, there seem to be some mistakes (and obvious omissions): they think Cabinet is a Dutch group

They also seem to complain a lot about non-Japanese productions about.... the language! Hah! Now they know how it feels if you can't read a sh*t!

xxx4everymanxxx@xxx.xxx.xxx, the address is shown into an image to prevent spammers to catch it, the same trick I use in my site.

By the way... what does MacGyver there??

And now the spammers have full access to this email address.

xxx4men@xxx.xxx is your address?

Mods: please remove all these email addresses, spammers read msx.org also

{mod: let the hunt for the great 'xxx' begin, once more}

Oooops... you're right. For whatever reason I was thinking that this was a private forum with no access to spammers. I'm very sorry.

Mods, please correct my mistake and then kick my teeth.

Well, Konamiman didn't do it on purpose, you did. Why? It makes your action worse then his. Should I put your address here as well? C'mon... grow up....
And what's that about the "full access"? I don't see any login details here...

Full access to the address, not the email... if I had full access to your home address, would that also mean I had full access to your home? ;p
*edit* yeah, it was worded weird, even in my analogy, but you know what he meant

No problem with my address, anyway I already receive about 2000 spams per month... luckily the GMail account I'm actually using eats all of them.

BTW mod-sama, in the HansO message, the MSX lab address is still visible in the quote.

Does anybody own one of these games? Or can they get imported? Some of them look very nice. Take a look at the game Tactical Unit on this page (you must scroll down a bit):

http://home.a02.itscom.net/msx_lab/dojin/dojin-14.html

Looks like a commercial game. Really great!

But are all games on this page amateur games? I translated the site with Babelfish but I couldn't understand that broken English . More information needed

They seem to be amateur games indeed. At least the non-Japanese ones are.

Hahaha. I had to laugh about the comment at Realms of Adventure: "英文が長いので全然遊んでいない。ごめん。". Meaning: "I didn't play this at all, because the English senctences are too long; I'm sorry". Apparently the Japanese don't share our custom to play an MSX RPG even though we don't understand a thing of the texts (as was usual in the nineties).

I just browsed it and read it globally. If there's anything specific you wish to know, feel free to ask .
