Hello.

Anyone knows how to solve that problem?

Joystick port 0 (keyboard) and two works perfect
but no. one is bad.

Stick(1) returns 3 (which means joystick right).
it should result 0.
If i press joystick left, it returns 0 ?

Joystick works perfect i port no 2 so joystick is in good shape.

Any help?

maybe the psg is damaged? or only a short circuit?

does the values returned are the same with or without the joy connected or not?
does the values returned are the same with or without the joy moved or not?

yes stick(1) returns 3 if joystick is insertet but not touched
if i move joystick left it returns 0
if i move right it returns 3
the psg works

the big problem in svi738 is there are 2 very specieal spectravideo chips
those cant be replaced if the dammage are in those chips, i better look for a donor svi738

I opend the computer, and i found out, this computer should be very easy to upgrade.
Many things are socket, alle rom (eproms) are
and the vdp also

the ram-chips are not socket
