Most of us will know that the Russian space station MIR contained a Sony MSX2 that was used for research. I'm wondering... were there more MSX computers used at important spots? I heard rumors of Studio Sport (dutch TV program) used Philips NMS8280 computers for superimposing in the early days...

Wasn't there a story in an old MCM about the 'Haarlem Basketball Week' using Sony MSX2-computers for superimposing and stuff?

Hmmmm, rare MSX2-machines......My Philips VG8235 prototype with handwritten labels on all the chips etc. etc.

Come on, there must be more famous MSX computers in the world. How about the 8235/8240 Boris Becker received, the Philips CD-ROM prototypes....who's next?

Yeah, wonder what BoemBoem Becker did with that machine. Probably burnt it ritually. 'Ich liebe nur mein 64-er!!'

Or the MSX computer(s) Chriet Titulaer used in the Dutch technology programme "Wondere Wereld"... I guess there were more MSX things presented on it than just the Music Module.

I hung mine out of the top window in the house one time because it wouldn't load a game (I'm glad we don't use tape these days), at least 10 passers by saw it..... does that count?

Now I think of it though, our house was some distance from the pavement, and I'm not sure if they could see the MSX logo

(It was my Canon V-20, and it's the reason the power cord at the back of the machine has a tear in it)

What? That's not abuse! I used the upper slot of my ST as an ashtray for years... worked like a charm too!

My FS-AWSX1 is not famous but it should be one of the fews in the world working at 220V

If you want to do the same just let it burn at 350V by mistake and then replace the fried internal power supply for an european 220V one

"Los juegos del 3"

Was a TV show at channel 3 and i thinks retransmit from channel 13 of Buenos Aires, Argentina. and was transmited every sunday by about 1 year.

All a segment of the show of 30min was dedicated to a contest that the players play games on a Talent MSX1 DPC200 games like PIPPOLS or Road Fighter, SIMON and others.

The players that reached higher score plays against a new player , before 3 or 4 stages come the final and the winner wins its new brand Talent MSX1.
