After quite a long search I finally found myself a VG8010.
The seller assured me it worked fine, but unfortunately it won't boot.
The red power led lights up when the external VU0022 power supply is switched on but that's it. No nice blue bootup screen but only a fully black one.
I've checked the output voltages of the power supply and maybe there's something wrong. I measured the following voltages:

+ 5,1v -> seems Ok
+ 11,8v -> seems Ok
- 9,1v -> should be -12v -> maybe this is the problem

Don't know if the low -9,1v could be the cause of not booting, but maybe someone here can help me out.

I would love to bring this msx back to life

maybe you could try with another power source.

Maybe an old pc-psu ? (Type AT).

But i dont know if it will deliver -12v ?

I've allready found another VU-0022 power supply, thanks again msxfemale
I'll just have to wait until it arrives to check if the problem lies there. I hope it does
