Space Manbow 2 seems to the the most waited game in the MSX history since
the standard was declared dead in 1991.

Any news on the release ?

Most waited game? No disrespect to the creators, which did a good job on the game afaik, But I think that statement is just a little exaggerated

It would be nice to know what happened to the game though... last time I heard it was "close to a release", but they were having some problems to make the carts...

Maybe the game could be sold in a disk? Just put the ROM there with some ROM loader and require a big mapper to run it

Giving for free.. That sounds pretty Dutch
Why not give the creators some credit and money for their work? Nothing wrong with that!

Last I heard -some while ago on IRC- was that the game was ready, but that norakomi was on holidays during Nijmegen, so it'd have to be the next fair (Bussum).

Or so.

No guarantees, as it's not official info.

Wanting it for free does... and then selling it to someone else; that's typical Dutch

Total Parody ?
Why not, sooner or later I'll take it back to life, (if some talented pixel artist you know wants to contribute...)
- this time I could exploit the new skills acquired in mega ROMs, SCC, and C compilers...

Well, because those people knew beforehand that their work would be distributed for free?
And don't worry, they will never earn a lot of money on SM2, but there is nothing wrong with them asking some money for it. There is no reason why everyone should do everything for free.

well, I was speaking of the delay in the distribution of the game more than the fact of paying for the game itself....
giving it for free would shorten the delay a lot

It's just interested and anxious people, no more. Nothing to worry about.
