MSX Fair Bussum 2007

Less than 2 months prior to the fair and it's still pretty quiet. Are you all attending the fair? Are you going to register a booth? Are there new developments being shown? I'm curious!

Who brings along Guitar Hero?

Sounds cool, and with all you other ones, too! Hm, only 1,5 hour ride, I will try to come, too, at least for some hours!

Would be a very big mistake if you donot go.
Besides that, decide on forehand , convinced that it will be boring makes that no one comes and I would say decide that on the announcements if any ...

On the boringness, it was discussed earlier. Some ppl already state they won't go, which is a bad situation. Otoh, I'm not sure whether B7 will be interesting anyway, no-one knows. I actually think that as many ppl as possible should write fair reports. Then we should combine those reports and study what the average conclusions are. Important factor is that ppl should judge the fair as a major fair, not as some bigger chit chat meeting compared to their monthly or bi-monthly local meetings. If ppl regard B7 as chit chat meeting, then -other than size- what's the difference between B7 and MVM, Hoorn, MSXCG and other such meetings? If the outcome will be that ppl *will* regard B7 as a big chit chat with little fair, then once more there should be a moment where one would reconsider the current situations of MSX fairs. For instance, combining it with other systems. That is, if we want to keep the impression of having one or two major fairs each year.

Ofcourse B7 will be all about chit chat. And that's main the reason why I am going. When I want to hear or see some news I visit MRC. The MSX-scene has become so International that it's impossible for every developer to show up. So only Dutch/European developers will be present and the things they have to show can't keep me entertained for a whole day (no offence... no really, no offenceat all!). So I always find myself at the bar, talking to other MSX'ers, planning new projects, drinking beer and having fun.

To make these fairs more interesting one could consider making it a Z80 fair indeed.
