I'm developing an updated BIOS for the MSX-Audio.

I'll need those keyboards to test if the new music keyboard routines are working properly.

I'm looking for MSX Music keyboards in good condition, good price, that can be delivered to a friend living on Germany. He'll bring them to me in December next.

What I'm looking for:

- Toshiba HX-MU901 Music Keyboard
- Philips NMS-1160 Music Keyboard

Both must not have been modified in any way (i.e.: Many HX-MU901 were rewired to be connected to a Music Module and will not serve to my purposes).

Hi,

I have a Toshiba HX-MU901 music keyboard, almost new (boxed).
It still has the plastic wrapper inside the box, and it is not modified.

Maybe I'd sell it ... What's your price range ?

Hi Metalion,

I'm not sure how much this keyboards cost today, so please state your initial price. Keep in mind that the exchange rate of Euro versus Real is about 1 x 2,60. This means it will almost triple any Euro price you set. It will not make sense to spend almost a hundred R$ (quite a lot of money here) just to ensure the keyboards work with the MSX-Audios.

After the tests I'll not have much use for the keyboards except demonstrations on MSX fairs. I only know how to code, I have absolutely no musical skills.

If your keyboard is one-of-a-kind or a valuable item for you, its better not to sell it. I'm looking for keyboards in the following situations:

1) Someone who has two or more of them, so one will not be missed
2) Have one, but do not have any utility for it and is almost throwing it away to save space
3) Got married and his wife is just expecting an opportunity to throw it away
4) Just want to incentive the MSX development

sd_snatcher,

I did not realize that you were located in Brazil (BTW very nice country and people, been there five times ... muito obrigado).
It is true that the current exchange rate of the euro does not help ... And as it is almost brand new, I will not sell my keyboard (and MSX-Audio module) for less than €100.

Boa sorte !
