What do you think about it?
IT is almost classic for Falcom and some SEGA games.
On the MSX2 there is the typical Wanderers from Ys.
Well, to be fair the ending sequence is more a very nice series of portraits!
Sorcerian also starts in English and later switch to "Japanese text mode" ...

Those things could even happening into other formats too!
The menus and word are even more mixed.
Would be cool (full) dual language games?
Some games even could even adopt this concept, since the MSX is one of those platforms with the "change your language" by country option.

Payload is a dual language game. Press F1 or F2 to select Japanese or English.

Heroes of the lance. Published in 1991!!!! Has full English texts. To start the game, you had to answer a question about the (japanese) manual so you still couldn't play the game if you could not read Japanese. Nice copy protection guys!

Oh well, the game sucked anyway...

I want the AD&D Heroes of the Lance game ... On a side note for your comment, the copy protection is so nice that there is a 'cracked' version (nice intro) that load the game on the Memory Mapper.
It is a little sad, but lots of games had a cracked version.

But I only own the original. And originals are not cracked.

AD&D Heroes of the Lance.
Does this game use FM music !?

Would you want to sell the game?
Cartridge games are more durable than some other medias, at least for some uses ...

Games published on Japan that are in English ...

I think that Wizardry is dual language too.
