Many things are happening on our site, and not everything is reported straight away. That's why I opened this forum topic. In this topic, we of MRC will keep you posted on the latest developments on our website. Mind you, this topic is not the right place to submit feature requests, we have a different topic about that elsewhere in the forum. (this one)

As of today, the Links section is restyled. I think you'll like the new lay-out. Also, it's easier to add a new link now. Please check your bookmarks and see if your favorite MSX site is listed. If you have your own MSX website you have even more reasons to check

The first (index) page of the forum now shows the topic tile of the last post (in stead of a date)

Yes! It works much better with this system (the original, including dates). I connected a while ago and I found it very annoying: you know the topic, but not the date.

Would it be possible to include in MSX.org an IRC client to connect to MSX-related channels? I think that a direct link to #MSXdev would be great!

Thank you for all and keep working hard! MSX Resource Center is a must in the MSX-scene.

It's possible, but we're afraid it will cost us loads of datatraffic... which means a lot of money :/

You can connect to #MSXDev from its homepage at the MSX Banzai! Development section. Also I wouldn't mind some suggestions as to the contents of that page.

next changes: Improved a large part of the URL system..

http://www.msx.org/newspost1083.html is quite readable, isn't it?

made some changes to scripts to allow MG-MRC (the IRC bot) to return (it just did! )
also, the first preparations to create a Spanish version of the MRC are being made.

furthermore I've been working on another interesting feature, which will be unleashed in a couple of days/weeks/mont..err... soon

..after sending the newsletter I deleted over 200 invalid user accounts from our userbase. I'm surprised we still have over 1000 members left. Please people be careful and check your email adress in the My Account screen every now and then.

I think every page gets parsed and saved as html-file after every post. If I am correct it can even save quite some serverCPUpower, because the contents do not need constant re-parsing.

Correct? or should I take some of those bluepills to see the correct solution?

BUG:
I cannot edit my Skill in My Acount when using Opera7
The Checkboxes just don't appear.

In IE6 and Mozilla1.3 everything works fine...
