I'm sure the problem with Tristan's service provider can be fixed. As you know, Tristan never even tried to ban a whole country, and it is even simply impossible.

I just want to make sure there is more than one version of the archive online. No problems with the msxarchive.nl paid by Tristan, only the brazilian problem now.

And yes, it is possible to block a whole country. It may take a long list of denied IP address ranges, and not be 100%. You can get these addresses for example from GEOIP and comparable compinies.

Well, he didn't do that. I just hope you'll keep the archive up to date also on the msxarchive.nl server. I'm glad you find no real problem about it and I guess that the Brazil problem will be fixed soon, after he contacts the hoster.

Have a preview at the the collections at http://msx.retro8bits.com (thanks MSX ALL en Julio Marchi), hosted in Brazil.

Not only have I moved the MSX Info pages there, most of the FUNET archive (excluding the Games!) is also available.
It needs some work, and the collection will become much larger than the FUNET archive or msxarchive.nl
When it is to my wishes, it will talke some weeks to get all in good working order, I will work with Tristan to update the msxarchive. nl also.

Excellent site! Thanks a lot for gathering so many useful things!
(and now accessible from China too...).

Thanks you for the feedback.

Yes, I noticed from my previous visit to China that my own websites are not accessible there. So this is a big improvement!
