I am playing with cas2wave and cas2wave to upload some programs to my MSX1 computer from my PC using the media player. For many cas files it works fine, but the lack of "motor control" prevents others from work well. The problem is with some programs in which some screen or animation is displayed after the first block load, taking so much time that the msx misses the header of the next block or file. It would be nice to have some means of inserting a larger blank between blocks to avoid such miss of the block headers. Do you know some way to solve this problem ?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it can be done that way... but wouldn't it be nice to have an option in cas2wave or cas2wav to define the gap between blocks ? I wonder if this is technically difficult.

I updated the castools package to include an extra parameter in cas2wav that allows you to create bigger gaps between blocks. Get it here.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I have tested it with "Head over Heels". There is a load screen written in basic that needs to a gap of almost 9 seconds between blocks. Now it loads at the first try!
