I am searching for an 8-pin DIN plug to build an RGB - SCART cable for my Panasonic FS-A1 WX.

I have found two different types :
- one that has all the 7 external pins over a 262 degrees angle
- one that has all the 7 external pins over a 270 degrees angle

Which one should I use ?

And I assume the FS-A1 WX use all pins. Some MSXes, like Yamaha CX5-M and Philips VG8020 both have 8 pin DIN connectors but on both computers its possible to use a 5 pin DIN (old fashion MIDI connector). The Yamaha computer has different angle on the pins but its possible with just a tiny bit of force to connect the standard 5 pin DIN.

Well, in the end, I finally bought both types
I'll check the correct plug when I'll receive them.
I'll then post the answer to my own question, because it is valuable information anyway.

OK, I received them and the verdict is in : the correct one is the 270 degrees type.
This type should work for all Panasonic MSX2+ and Turbo-R computers.

BTW, I am able to build 3 RGB DIN to EuroSCART cables.
I'll keep one for me, obviously, but the two others will be for sale soon.

Also, I have 5 DIN plugs which are of the 262 degrees type.
I was told they work for other MSXes (Canon, Yashica, ...) but I am not sure of their application.
Anyway, they are for sale also.

Hey, thanks for the clarification. I used DIN-8 connectors which fit perfectly fine in SEGA Master System / SEGA Genesis model 1, but they didn't fit MSX2 all that well.

Now I know what to order if I'll decide to redo my cable.
