... well, perhaps not but I noticed that many of his 'predictions' were awfully close to reality.

For instance, he predicted the end of the cold war
he placed Metal Gear 2's zanzibarland near/in Afghanistan
he predicted small terrorism was a bigger danger than old-fashioned wars
and... now... in Moscow, they discovered a maze of underground passages. (Discovered and used during/after the hostage thing in the theater).

I wonder... how did he know all these things?

"This story is ficticious. Any resemblence with reality is purely coincidental."

I have to admit he was right most of the time. It's quite incredible. He may be able to look into the future or something?

Hmmm... well... as far as I know there was no Lucifer-Alpha accident 13 years ago

Good thing too. I don't want to die (just yet anyway). Though with quite some things in the plot he was quite correct, as you stated in your initial post.

Kojima's biggest "prediction" is surely the morbid similarity between the events of September 11 and Sons of Liberty. Both involve terrorist connection in the destruction of the New York skyline, and MGS2 hit American shelves a mere two months after 9/11.

The use of biological weapons and a "World War III" in Snatcher seem like a forecast of the future by the ways things are looking right now, too...

The only thing missing in that picture is for Kojima to 'predict' the date the real terrorist attack would be initiated. THEN it would really be scary.

I just hope there will be no plane crashes after which Snatcher remnants are found. Then we're in deep shit
