OK, we are lucky.

- Spanish version of Perry Mason: NMS-8951/28 (original by Idealogic)
- Spanish version of MSBASE: 8502/28 (original by Aackosoft International). Below that VG code we can find other numbers (maybe useless) say "8622 285 02289".

Edit: Both are FD, but as I can see MS Base is already in bas' list. I pressume that /28 means Spanish language?

Philips used:

/20 UK
/21 France
/22 Germany
/23 The Netherlands
/28 Spain
/xx Italy
/xx xxxx

MS Base Spain ("the other number": 8622 285 02289
MS Base Germany: 8622 285 02229
MS Base The Netherlands: 0622 285 02239

So, we can find back here the same numbering system as in the product ID!

In the Netherlands and Germany the program MS base is both on cassette and disc. Was it only released in Spain on disc?

Bas: could you also add the copyright-year to your list? (And other information that might be useful for GenMSX...

I will!

Can I use your photos on GenMSX?

Of course, but due to the limited amount of space available for my (free) site the pics are in really low res....

Great contribution!
Philips put a lot of effort in Italy! More to collect than I expected!

I've checked the original Spanish manual and it explains how to load both versions: cassette and disk. So I think that both versions existed.

I will try to check if we have more philips stuff around.

I have even found a "list" of our original cartridge and tapes from the old days, written by my brother (last 80s or begining of 90s) with their codes, but apparently "Grand National" does not exist. I think we lost that game before the rest were throwed to rubbish (blame my brother). Maybe a "friend" never gave us this back in the 80s.

SaebaMSX you speaks like my brother, don't you?

I knew that one day this list will be important. (Visionary)

I think /24 means Italian version.
For ex., MS Base sais "ITALIANO VG..../24" on cover.

Yes Enribar. I've seen the cover of L'Infinito and I confirmed. But the number is different in the italian page. I think there is an error in this page or this game has two references.

Bas, if you keep your list updated, I'll sync it with Generation MSX. For now, I'm still working on the Philips NL stuff. Let me know if something changes there, or mark them with "new" or something.

Can you please answer my questions above?
