Is there any website that have a list of the MSX games originally distributed on tape, that were dumped and released on .CAS files ?
Because I have still some original tapes here at home, and since some of them are still working I'd like to help before it's too late for them

{mod: I guess we can't have that link in here}

This is the main website of CAS files. This website is maintained by Martos and most of the tapes have been dumped by him.

{mod: Please think before you post a link! We wouldn't want to get sleepless nights because of people suing us over copyrights!}

Try to "google" the following key: CAS MSX
The first entry should be the page you are looking for

Thank you very much for your help. I think that I still have one game or two still not listed on that website, so I'm going to contact its webmaster and ask him if he needs a little contribution.

I have just finished to convert some of my games that weren't listed on Martos site.

I've made CAS versions of 3D POOL (AKA Maltese Joe's Pool Challenge) by Firebird, Sea Harrier (PHILIPS Label VG 8195) and THUNDERBIRDS - The adventure game by Grandslam (Only missions 3 and 4, because the first tape appears to be damaged )

I think I still have that one lying around somewhere.

Well, this morning I managed to dump also Mission 2. Still no luck with Mission 1... I have even tried again with a different tape recorder, but unfortunately I got the same results. It's a bit sad for me, because "Thunderbirds" was my favourite adventure game on the MSX; yes, I know it's available on MSX1Mania but I rather prefer to have it on tape, because I was used to load it from tape on my beloved VG8020... I'm even disappointed because TAPE2CAS had to strip away the original turbo loader Aah... the colour bars around the border are not the same anymore

BTW I have still another problem: how do I contact Martos?

If I am correct, he is glaurungattack on here; no e-mail specified in his profile though.
but maybe you can contact him via his yahoo profile.

And here I found a post that mentioned "msxmartos [arroba] teleline.es"; I am guessing that [arroba] is an @;

cesco: Do not worry about degraed tapes. If some part can be recovered, the corrupt bytes can be recovered too if a disk version exits...

I saw all the four Thunderbirds missions on a MSX1Mania floppy once, so that should be a good news?

I successfully managed to contact Martos by sending him an e-mail to this address: msxmartos [AT] teleline.es
Just replace the word [AT] with the @ symbol...
