Yeah! Finally, another Megapoll! During the upcoming weeks we are going to find out which MSX demo our visitors find to be the best MSX demo ever. As of now, you can send in your nominations in this forum thread following these guidelines:
  • A mega-demo is seen as one production and can be nominated only once. "Lightning demo" and "Unknown Reality", for instance, are correct nominations whereas "Lightning demo - first scroll" and "Unkown Reality - Scope part" are not
  • Picture disks from e.g. Sunrise, MSX-Engine and BCF are not to be seen as mega-demos as different groups contributed to it. Its separate parts can be nominated as entries. For instance: "Moonwalk demo, Sunrise Picturedisk" is a valid nomination
  • Try to motivate why you think your nomination should run for Best MSX demo ever in this megapoll
You can send in your nominations until February 10th, 23:59 CET.

"Math Magicians (Fuzzy Logic) - Sunrise PicD." - cool intro tune, multi-part-demo, rotating starfield
"The Source of Power (ANMA)" - multi-part-demo, cool effects (esp. the 1992 zoomer)
"Unknown Reality (NOP)" - for obvious reasons

"Metal Limit (IOD)" - it's still one of the demos that gets 100% out of your MSX.
"Almost Real (Mayhem)" - A boatload of cool effects!

The real title was Royal Art, iirc. But anyway, there's only one RMF 'big' demo, the rest were small picturedisk demos, oh, and one musicdisk ofcoz..

"Sphere" - New blood, new point of view on MSX demos, away with oldskool scrollers.
"Wings" - see Sphere
