| Just saw a couple of actions by him again on ebay. Might be interesting though.

I'm afraid not.
I've just been in an auction by this seller and I was quite surprised to adquire some game to such the high price they finally were auctioned. Being the main bidders people with 1 or 2 feedback was a bit suspicious. But after reading this thread I checked the auction history of the games I won and I think it's quite clear there was some inflation bidders around. Certainly the price is more than they would make if sell in a meeting or fair, but maybe that's my fault for putting a high max bidd. Is very enlightenig seeing how the bids raised just to below my max bidd and then no mnore biddibgs from those "phantom" bidders.
At least it seems that the feedback is good relating item conditions and that I was really interested in those games ( so finally I'm quite happy winning them), but I believe that there were not fair auctions.
So, people beware with this seller.

Was this just a few days ago??? All current items he's selling are still fairly low priced, even the GT, 31$ I believe.

Yes, just the weekend before ( i think).
Tha games were The Castle, Castle Excellent, Fleet Comander2 and Parodius.
Except Parodius ( high price but nevertheles I expected that in an open auction for a Konami), the other were finally quite expensive ( over 60/70 euros)

That user (e***a) also bid on the Turbo R (which indeed sold for a bit more than 31$ :-)). So probably soukasen3 is still not a fair auctioner, despite the warning.
This behaviour can ofcourse be reported again. Perhaps after several warnings Ebay will ban this user. But maybe this isn't even desirable, since collectors will have one less source to get their MSX stuff?
Then just sensible bidding might be better?

Fortunately I forgot to bid on one of soukasen3's cartridges. I want to pay the right price and this guy seems to be ripping off everybody.

Please, do not bid in Sousaken3 auctions... and, we carefull with MundoCombo, check it in Ebay (well.. now is not registered)... I am still waiting for some games paid days ago, same case as other people.

'days ago' is not something you should worry about. 'weeks ago' is.

I bought konami's Quarth through ebay from soukasen3 and i paid 148 euros.I have seen such games from konami to go very high.I guess something like what the thread says could happen to me too.
However the item was professionaly packaged, and game was mint condition, with no scratches, and box inlays manuals like new.Having seen quarth go as high as 160 euros in the past,i consider that i was not ripped off.
Also the item arrived very fast within 7 working days (i am in Greece by the way).
However i am frustrated by what i read in these forums. It's so sad to see people doing such things.
If i were an ebay seller,i would prefer to place "Buy it now" buttons and let people decide if they want to pay such a high price or not, rather than having other people make false bids and raise the final price.
Since we are talking about sellers i have to say that one of the best sellers of msx items and a very noble man,and one that i had the pleasure to purchase many konami roms and megaroms is Evulopah. Not all sellers are bad and we should always praise the ones that are good.
Bad thing about soukasen3 is that reputation is something that once lost i think it's very difficult to make it like it was.And the most unfortunate is that he can simply change his name if he is banned from ebay and do the same again.
There was one guy from amiga forums named "doomy" that did such things,as not sending items that people won through ebay, raising prices like what was mentioned, and the sad fact is that he has been banned from many amiga forums but many times came back with other names,(and of course in ebay he did the same!).
Unfortunately it is something that most people that collect old computer, peripherals, games etc have to be careful.Being ripped off is not something nice...

You are right in a few things, Nikodr. There are very good and professional sellers who do a magnificient job for all us vintage computing aficionados.
I bought Parodius for 120Euros and as you say on Quarth, I think is quite the price it would go in regular auction for a Konami like this. But I endend buying some overpriced things that even if they are mint, I would not have payed that price with a Buy Now button if you know what I mean. When you enter an auction you expect to win, and things can go high, sometimes you end paying too much but it's differnet when you are "cheated" into paying that price.
The frustation in this case, is that it wasn't a fair auction, where other fellow MSXers tried to get the same game that me, but that it was inflated artificially by the seller. Not just I ended paying a higher price ( at the end, it was me who put a high limit, I can not even blame soukasen3 for this), but then games that doesn't derve it become more and more expensive when auctions go that way.
Next time someone is selling Castle Excellent would believe 70 euros is fair price, and frankly I love this game but it is a game for the 20-40 euros range. More than that is overpriced.

The keywords here are: "cheated" and "fair auction", even if I end paying only 5€ I'll blame on it if the auction is not a fair one.

Well, if even banning users won't work, would it be an idea to put up some sort of "Ebay users black list" wrt MSX items?
Perhaps on the "trading and collecting" section of the forum?
Oh yes, a "golden user list" might also be nice. Indeed it's good to praise the good users! Evulopah could top the list.
