Let's do a 4 player Bombaman run on the next fair!

Yeah, cool!!!

Not simultaneously, but lots of fun for 4 players: The "Title Awase" (memory) game and "Ago-Board" (or smth) on Konami Game Collection 4!

Oh, and do not forget Triplex which supports upto 16 (if my memory serves me well) simultaneous players

For up to 4 players, 'Magical Labyrinth (Remix)' from Gigamix is really cool

I wonder if anyone here has ever seen the "LINKS" system of Girly Block working?

It should have worked using telephone lines, if I'm not mistaken.
Interesting...

Do you remember Gauntlet?
Years ago, I spent hours with my brother just killing demos and passing level by level. Really addictive !!!

The technical trick in this game is that only the 2 players characters and the shots are sprites, all the enemies (quite a lot in one screen!) are tile-based.

Why not a Gauntlet for 4 (i said Gauntlet, not Smart )

Another nice game could be a Sonic-style game. I remember one version supported 2 simultaneous players.
The screen splited vertically in 2 playing fields, each one for each player. This could solve the sprite linitation...
