A current version is compatibility with MSX2+.
It is right that a RAM count is displayed.

I tried again using another SD card, formatted in FAT16 and it still doesn't work for me :/
Are there any requirements about the SD card itself ?
Yobi, have you managed to get it working on your side ?
Is the ROM to use a special ROM, or a standard MSX ROM will do ?

I have the same problems. 0038
Were can we get the ROM's for the SD-card?

Or do we have to set the switches in a special mode?

If it is the MSX2BIOS that you need, then you can find it in this post :

Yobi, as I know close to nothing about MSX in general, could you please tell me what you did next ?
For now, after the MSX logo, I'm somewhat stuck at the Basic prompt...

download the ocm disc at www.grauw.nl/download/1chipmsx-cd.rar
then copy the files at: MSX-DOS2/FAT16 to your SD

Is there a plan to rewrite the vdp implementation in order to optmize/improve it? If yes, what news about it?

The plan to rewrite VDP implementation is progressing.

http://www5d.biglobe.ne.jp/~hra/note/onechipmsx/research/v9958/index.htm

However, since I am busy, work has been interrupted temporarily.
It is scheduled to restart in the latter half of September.
