And again, some good games for sale, to play or collect.

There are several Konami's and a few other games which are very nice to play.
Some are japanees, others are european versions. Some loose cart's, but also complete games!
A few of them are really rare!

Check it out!

As far as I know the software is exactly the same. Only the label is different (but very hard to find).

Also see this and this forum topic. (unfortunately the links to the images from the last forumtopic are broken)

Here are de differences between the normal version(s) and the special version.
Photo:
The top row are japanese cartridges,
the second row are the normal european versions,
and the third row are the special editions.
At the bottom you can see the three versions of MoG again.

Nice, thanks for this good overview, LeoM! Do you also have pictures of the boxes and manuals of the different versions?

I don't have the box and manual of Penguin Adventure (Special Edition)
You can see that F1-spirit also has a Special Edition version (small box) but the layout of the cartridge, manual and box is the same as the normal version.
The european version of Nemesis 3 is also a small box.

According to this forumpost, there should also be smallbox versions of Salamander, Nemesis 2, Metal Gear and Vampire killer.

From the last four, Vampire killer is the only one I have ever seen on Ebay. The complete version (cart, manual and box) was sold for £255,- which is +/- €325,- (to much for me...)

I had no intention about selling them. But after reading your post "The complete version (cart, manual and box) was sold for £255" and realizing mine are in better condition, perhaps I'll change my mind

I've seen the salamander a couple of times on ebay (spain mainly) and it goes for 150-180 euro's. and the box is mainly blue. I think these are for fanatics only...way to expensive....

My neighbour had that salamander version while I had the nemesis2 version (I don't know if it was that special). My nemesis 2 version had the small box size, I think it was like this:

Unfortunately I don't have it anymore, I gave it for free many many years ago...

By the way, we bought it in Spain around 1990 (just some info).
