Hi,

Those USB memory sticks on PC are getting quite popular.
and that's not strange, cause are really convenient.

Does anyone know if it is possible to make a device for the MSX that can read
and write those memory sticks? (something like the CF adapter).

Great! I didn't know these devices existed, that's very cool stuff
On a sidenote, I guess when Serial ATA drives become mainstream it's possible to use a Parallel ATA to Serial ATA adapter on the Sunrise IDE interface.

Unfortunately, chaos is not talking about Sony Memory sticks, but about generic USB memory sticks.

OH yeah, those... They suck!
Seriously, the only way to read them is through a USB interface, and the protocol is probably different for each manufacturer... So it'll be tough.

I think they use a common USB Mass storage protocal, as almost all digital cameras do as well.

Really? Well, that would simplify things, but it's gonna have to wait until someone creates a MSX USB interface.
