I dont't believe it!

Apparently, the game Andorogynus has 13 levels, or "shocks" as the game calls them.

When you beat shock 6, you get a demo and change into a woman.
After this, the game proceeds with shock 7, which is actually shock 1, and so on.

Finally, you get shock 13 with the boss being some sort of brain with 4 heads on it.
I destroyed it and this sucker came along.

I've attacked him almost for hours with every weapon in the game on its highest level, I smacked him with my orbs, even shot at his back for half an hour or so...
I hear a sound effect which indicates hits but it just won't die.

this game really stinks , it is my last cartrige i bougt during the "contemporanian msx days" when i was 15.
What a disapointment , i remember i came to one of the last stores selling msx cartridges in Paris (maubert) for an other game that was no more available and the seller gave me this one instead , the intro was ok but the game was just so ugly !
I guess it stopped my interest in msx for a while... about 10yrs ...
I dont remember the other game i came for it was a konami i think ...

Perhaps even the game developer(s) didn't think anyone would take the time to pass all 13 levels???

As a matter of fact, I did try to hug it, but it meant instant death for me.

...Maybe he's a misogynist, which means I shouldn't had done the sex change in the first place.

Funny, it was exactly the same for me.
It was the last MSX game I bought, and it was crap ...
Although my patience was shorter : I never went farther than the 2nd stage.

by 1994 i threw away every msx things i got as i moved from one home to an other.... i have thrown :many msx1's , my sony cool msx2 hbf500f and every single cartridge (knightmare ,nemesis,vampire killer, usas, disk games ys , firehawk, dragonslayer6, aleste2 ...) and this game fom telenet with its quite new box.

I only kept one cartridge from that time that i still have : salamander with scc...

I bought Andorogynus long time ago and it's the most difficult game I've ever played. It's the typical game which exasperate you (shouts, punchs... ), even so I got shock 12.

However for me this is one of the best games for MSX2 because it's very good in some points like graphics(specially), demos, music and originality. Maybe we have to ask Japanese users if anybody saw the final demo once.

Actually i have to admit that technically and graphically Andorogynus was very good. I liked it.
A have to admit that the gameplay was vary bad, by far too difficult for me
The mix of side bullets with vertical scrolling was a very bad choice, making the game very frustrating.
I never passed the first 2-3 levels IIRC.
