My real name is Kris Garrein. I lived my entire life in Belgium. My nick comes from the superbe fantasy novels of Raymond E. Feist. I'm a computer/multimedia programmer.
I was born in 1976, don't remember when I had my first MSX, must have been somewhere at the end of the '80s.
I do remember it was a Philips VG-8020  I owned a couple of the alltime konami-classics then, like King's Valley, Maze Of Galious, Road Fighter, ... When I was about 14 my mother obligated me to give away the MSX with its games to a cousin for his birthday. I was really disappointed, and I never forgot about MSX.
Over the years I found MSX emulators and the roms and had some fun with those, but it just isn't the same .
When I discovered eBay somewhere in 1999, I entered the search-phrase 'MSX' out of curiosity. When a lot of MSX material showed up I was really surprised So, I decided to buy me a VG8020 and the Maze Of Galious (my all-time favorite) again.
Now, about 3 years later, I have 25+ MSX machines and 150+ original cartridge games.
I'm mainly a collector, so don't ask me for any technical stuff Although I am a programmer... If I ever get the chance I would like to learn ASM and program a game for the MSX. Problem is that I have not enough time as it is I don't know ASM neither

I also have an MSX webshop on my website, where I sell the MSX stuff I have twice in my collection.
